Located in Canaan Valley State Park, this trail is relatively easy as it travels over varied terrain around middle ridge. The Middle Ridge Trail passes through wooded forest of evergreens and hardwoods. It leads to open meadows and forest edges providing a great location for birdwatching. You are likely to encounter wildlife including deer on this trail any time of the year.
